ABOUT THE ARTIST
BIOGRAPHYGwen Dennis has a Bachelor of Science in Art Education and a Master of Arts majoring in Watercolor and Sculpture from Texas Woman's University. She was a member of Delta Phi Delta honarary art society while in college. Her continuing studies have been under:
She has been a college instructor in drawing, art history and art appreciation and taught community education classes in watercolor and ceramics. Current projects are in watercolor, collage, acrylic and pastel as well as ceramics.
|  ARTIST'S STATEMENTWithout passion, inspiration, belief, even thought, painting would be a dull, meaningless mess of color. When inspiration comes, passion takes hold with the belief that with thought and a little talent a painting emerges that is a living, vibrant mirror of the artist's soul. What the viewer should see in my paintings is a reflection of themselves; passionate, inspired, believing and thoughtful.
